Dear Club Presidents, dear Club friends,

1. International Elections:
Congratulations to members from our Area who were successful in the recent elections. Jacob KRISTENSEN and Peter VILLADSEN from Denmark  were elected as International Council Members 07/10. The new International President Elect 07/08 will be Mr. V.S.BASHIR from the Soputh West India Region.

2. Regional Conference 2006/2007:
I would be very pleased to meet as many club friends as possible from the whole Region CSE  at this Regional Conference. I am sure that all of you will enjoy theses few days in Essen. Please try to participate and submit your registration form asap (should reach Essen by 15 March2007). I am looking forward to meeting you in Essen.

3. Regional Conference Agenda:
I would like to remind you that items for inclusion on the agenda for the Reg. Conference must be with the RD by 10 March 2007. (as documents have to be translated )

4. REGIONAL PROJECT in WRITING:
Your written proposal(s) – explained in few lines for the agenda, should also be sent to the RD by10 March 20007.

5. TIME OF FAST
RSD TOF Bob Walker sent a CD-rom on TOF to all our club presidents. This CD includes much material and speaks about TOF in general terms – mainly meant for people who are not members in Y’sdom, it also gives a brief information about our movement.

At the last Int. Council Meeting, the Council has nominated 14 projects, worthy of support in this Fiscal year 2006/2007. Some of them are as follows:

Africa (Ethiopia) on HIV/AIDS  US$25,000   , TOGO (better life/ fight against HIV/AIDS) US$ 22,118 ,  SIERRA LEONE (agriculture input/YMCA) US$ 9,362 , BULGARIA (YMCA-Social Centre) Czech Recpublic (Prevention Project), Transylvania (YMCA- Youth Centre), India (different HIV/AIDS centres), etc., etc….

These 14 TOF-Projects  have an expected cost of approximately US$ 290,000
